Fall Deco

I can't believe it is already Fall, but I can't complain.... I love Fall! I started to decorate some pieces in my home to make it more cozy to the season and once of the things I love the most is candles along with pumpkins. I had found lots of cute things and had in mind some DIY that I am planning to do and share with you. How about you, did you start decorating already?

DIY Chalkboard Table for Children

Sorry I have been M.I.A. lately on my blog! But I am back now and I wanted to share a small DIY I did for my daughter's play room. My daughter is really into drawing and we got her a little table with chairs for her to have her drawing time. But since we got it, she just want to draw in the actual table lol so I decided to do a DIY as her command. It was so easy to make that I needed to share. Here it is what you need:

DIY Chalkboard Sticker - Etsy

The size of this sticker fits perfectly on the length, just need to measure the width and cut.

Even my husband joined her drawing ~ I think he likes it too! ;-)

You will have extra chalkboard sticker to make whatever you feel like. I am thinking to make some labels like these ones or these ones . Hope your little one enjoy it!

H&M Home Collection

I am so excited I can now purchase online from H&M, I mean.... it was  about time! As soon as I saw the announcement on their Facebook page, I went online to check it out and felt in love with their Home Collection especially their kids collection. Just check out that perfume rattle and that weight rattle, so cute! These are some of my favorites, I can't wait to start ordering some. How about you, are you excited as I am? lol

Estoy muy emocionada que ahora puedo comprar en línea en H&M,  osea .... ya era hora! Tan pronto como vi el anuncio en su página de Facebook, me fui en línea para comprobar  y me sentí enamorado de su Colección para la casa, especialmente su colección de niños. Sólo echa un vistazo a esta sonaja en forma de perfume y la otra en forma de pesa, súper lindo! Estos son algunos de mis favoritos, no puedo esperar para comenzar a pedir algo. ¿Y tú, estás tan emocionado como yo? jaja

Lemon Kale Salad

 I hope you enjoy this recipe. I came up with thanks to my trip to Whole Food Market the other day. I was looking in their Prepared Food section to buy dinner when I came across to this Lemon Kale Salad and as you must know, Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables out there! So I wanted to give it a try and OMG it was delicious so I got inspired to do something similar. So here it is what you will need:

Espero que disfruten de esta receta que se me ocurrió, gracias a mi viaje a Whole Food Market, el otro día mientras estaba buscando en su sección de comida ya preparadas para comprar la cena, cuando me encontré con esta ensalada de col rizada en Limón - como usted debe saber la Col Rizada es uno de los vegetales más saludables que existen, así que quería darle una oportunidad y Dios mío era deliciosa así que me inspiré para hacer algo similar. Así que aquí está lo que se necesita:

• 1/3 Kale bag (I got mine on Trader Joe's) / Bolsa de Col Rizada

• Juice of two Lemons / Jugo de dos limones

• 1/3 Yellow Onion (or purple onion) / Cebolla amarilla

• 3 oz Light Feta Cheese (Crumbled Feta cCheese works fine too) / Queso Feta

• 1/3 Walnuts / Nueces

• 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil / Aceite de Oliva extra virgen

• 1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar / Vinagre balsámico

• 1/2 tsp salt / sal

• 1/2 tsp pepper / pimienta

Lemon Kale Salad / Ensalada de col rizada en Limón 

Chop the onion, feta cheese and walnuts. Mix those 3 ingredients in a bowl with Kale /

Picar la cebolla, el queso feta y nueces. Mezclar los 3 ingredientes en un contenedor con la col rizada

Dressing / Aderezo 

To get the most juice of the lemons, microwave them for 15 sec ;-) Mix the juice of two lemons with the olive oil, Balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.  Tip: if it needs salt do not add too much otherwise when you mix it with the feta cheese might be to salty. Add it to the bowl with kale and other ingredients.

Para sacar el máximo jugo de los limones, pon los en el microondas  por 15 segundos;-) Mezcle el jugo con el aceite de oliva, vinagre balsámico, sal y pimienta. Consejo: si necesita sal no añadir demasiado de lo contrario, cuando se mezcla con el queso feta podría quedar salada. Añadir al contenedor con la col rizada y los otros ingredientes.
